Swati Singh is currently working at Centre for Regional Trade, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India as an Assistant Professor. Prior to this, she was associated with Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies at Pune and Noida campus as an Assistant Professor in Economics. She completed her Ph.D. thesis titled: Regional Trading Arrangements – A study of ASEAN and India in International Economics from Symbiosis International University under Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2018. She has completed her Master’s in Economics from Department of Economics, University of Pune. She has published papers in peer reviewed journals in the areas of Regional Economic Integration with specific reference to ASEAN, and E-governance adoption. Her field of interest includes Regional Economic Integration: especially in ASEAN-India trade relations; Intra-Industry Trade; Gravity model; Non-Tariff Measures especially SPS and TBT issues; Trade in Services; Trade Facilitation: Global value chains; International Trade operations and logistics, Export-Import policies and procedures.
